The Kirkland Kilbride Research Fund has donated over $192,000.00 to the Metabolics Research Lab at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario.  Innovative new genetic tests, not previously available at SickKids Hospital are now taking place because of your generosity. Recent funds are being used to conduct a study aimed at identifying the gene mutation responsible for Complex One Deficiency; the mitochondrial disorder which affected Kirkland's cells.
